Ahmed Mohamed, a 14-year-old Muslim student was arrested at his high school in Irving, Texas, after bringing a homemade clock to class, which school officials mistook for a bomb. Mohamed showed his engineering teacher first, but when the alarmed went off later in the day, that’s when the trouble started.
his english teacher said she thought it was a bomb and then kept it. if you legitimately thought an object was a bomb, you wouldn’t sit it on your desk for further examination later.
it’s clear that teacher didn’t actually think this was a bomb, she is just straight-up hateful and wanted to intentionally prompt the state to enact violence against this kid.
